Found all over the Zone, such artifacts have become a staple of stalker living, their properties are known to everyone and their level of danger is comparable to a box of matches: keep away from children, use for intended purpose and everything will be all right... Their main drawback is the less powerful charge, but it is quite easy to extract, which many consider another plus. To extract a charge you need - Deactivator - 1 pcs., Condenser - 1 pcs., Salt batteries 9V - 10 pcs. The temperature on its surface reaches 50-60C. "Heater" can burn a naked hand as by a hot oven, but any stalker knows -- there is no more reliable ally in a distant, snow-covered corner of the Zone. The "Heater" can rescue from a severe frost, from frostbite and influence of the ice anomaly. Some thankful travelers, whose life without "Heater" undoubtedly would end in impassable snow, nicknamed the artifact: "Magic coaly".
